GODAN Foundation held a staff meeting on 2 March 2026 to review progress on its flagship literacy initiative, the Ghana Reading Icon Project. During the meeting, the staff assessed achievements made so far and discussed strategies to strengthen the project’s impact in schools in the catchment area.

Staff highlighted encouraging progress, noting increased engagement from participating schools and growing interest among students in reading activities organized under the project. The discussion also focused on lessons learned from earlier school visits and ways to improve outreach and coordination with educators.

A key outcome of the meeting was the renewed commitment to expand the Ghana Reading Icon Project to more schools. The team outlined plans to intensify school visits, build partnerships with educational stakeholders, and introduce more students to the program’s reading culture initiatives.
